Daniel Jeremiah's Updated 2024 NFL Mock Draft Projects Jets, Vikings Making Big Swings
Jeremiah's Final Mock Before 2023 Draft Unveiled
Carolina's Pick at No. 1 Remains Intriguing
With less than 24 hours until the 2023 NFL Draft, NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah has released his final mock draft of the first round. In this mock, Jeremiah has the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings both trading up into the top five to select quarterbacks. The Jets, who currently hold the No. 13 overall pick, are projected to trade up to No. 2 to select Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud. The Vikings, meanwhile, are projected to move up to No. 4 to select Alabama quarterback Bryce Young. Jeremiah's mock also has four quarterbacks being selected in the first eight picks, with Stroud, Young, Kentucky's Will Levis, and Florida's Anthony Richardson all going in the top half of the first round. The Carolina Panthers, who own the No. 1 overall pick, are projected to select South Carolina defensive lineman Jordan Burch. Jeremiah notes that the Panthers could also consider trading down, but he believes they will ultimately keep the pick and select Burch. Other notable picks in Jeremiah's mock include Georgia offensive lineman Broderick Jones going to the Baltimore Ravens at No. 16 overall, Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel going to the Tennessee Titans at No. 20 overall, and Texas A&M defensive lineman Shemar Stewart going to the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 23 overall. It's important to note that this is just one mock draft and anything can happen on draft day. However, Jeremiah's mock provides some insight into how the first round could unfold and which players could be in high demand.
